COOKBOOKS
After all of our years poking around the kitchen, we believe there are roughly three kinds of cookbooks: First, there are the trusty mentors you turn to for advice on method and technique (we’re lookin’ at you, Julia). Then there are the creative repositories to help inspire a fresh idea when you’re in a rut or wanting to use up a certain ingredient. Finally, the special books that expand your horizons and introduce you to a different cuisine or method of cooking, pushing you out of your comfort zone and into a new place in the kitchen. We love them all. Here are some of the books we find ourselves turning back to over and over again, plus a few great ones on drinks for good measure.
