Books on art and artists (especially female ones) have become one of our favorite go-to sources of inspiration when we’re just feeling a little stagnant. Charlene has a tradition of adding to her art book library every time she sees a special exhibit in a museum as a way of documenting her experience there. Janelle has an irrationally large stack of art books in the studio that she pulls from to jump-start her brain when she’s starting on a new project. Here are some of our favorites.
