A Blind Taste to Discover Our Favorite Tea
For nearly two decades Janelle and I have enjoyed taking down the red teapot and pausing for a good ‘cuppa.’
We’ve been on this kick to eliminate stress in our lives and you know what causes stress? Having too many options!
We’re coming to the conclusion that having way too many options in life adds unnecessary stress. When we are in the middle of a work day the last thing we want to do is decide which tea to steep.

One final thought…
Did you know that boiling tea at the right temperature is important because different types of tea require specific water temperatures to extract their optimal flavors and avoid bitterness? If the water is too hot, it can scorch delicate teas, resulting in a bitter or unpleasant taste. Conversely, if the water is too cool, the tea may not steep properly, resulting in a weak and lackluster flavor.
By boiling tea at the right temperature, we can ensure a delightful and balanced tea-drinking experience that brings out the best characteristics of each tea variety. And now you know! This is why we highly recommend investing in the proper kettle. Here is our favorite.
